You can reprogram the remote control after resetting your One For All remote. To do this, press the “TV POWER” button on the remote for a few seconds. The LED light of the “TV POWER” button flashes twice in yellow. During this process, the “TV POWER” button will flash four times to reset the remote’s default settings.
First Method To Program The One For All Remote:
It is the most famous method for programming universal remote controls. It is the easiest method and completes within a minute.
- Turn on the device you wish to connect with the One For All remote control.
- Insert new batteries into the remote control.
- Hold the “SETUP” key on the remote. The LED light flash twice.
- Next, select the “DEVICE” button to enter the code on the remote.
- Now, enter the remote code using the remote keys.
Control your device using the remote. If the device responds to the remote, you have all set. If not, try reprograming your remote using another code and following the programming instructions from step 3.
Second Method To Program The One For All Remote:
In this method, you don’t need to enter a specific code. 922 is the universal remote code search digit that enables settings in the remote control to find a valid code for the targeted device.
- Hold the “SETUP” button on the One For All Remote. The LED light will flash twice.
- Point the remote control to the device sensor and enter 9-9-2 on the remote. The LED light flashes twice after entering the code.
- Press the corresponding device; the LED light will flash twice.
After this, check your remote control buttons. If the device is not responding to your remote, repeat the exact programming instructions from step 1.
How To Do One For All Remote Setup Magic Button
For All remote programming, Instructions vary from one remote model to another. However, it is not a difficult task. I will provide two different methods to program the remote control. You can choose a way depending on your remote model.
- Turn on the device you wish to control with the One For All remote control and insert batteries into the remote.
- Keep the remote at the device signals sensor.
- Press the “MAGIC” button on the One For All remote control for two seconds.
- After this, press the “DEVICE” button, such as TV, DVD, AUX, or any other device key.
- Now, enter the code assigned for the specific device. The LED light will flash and turns off after entering the code. If the LED blinks and stays solid, enter another code to complete the setup.

The Magic Key is the “SETUP” key that allows the remote to program. Advanced One For All remotes has this Magic button. You can see the “TV POWER” button on the older version of One For All remotes instead of the Magic button.
